About the course
The WINGS Confinement Nanny Training Programme is a structured, hospital-backed course that prepares you to care for new mothers and their newborns with skill, knowledge, and compassion. Through this programme, you will learn how to support a mother's postnatal recovery, provide attentive newborn care, guide breastfeeding, and prepare nourishing confinement meals. It is designed not only to build your practical abilities, but to give you the confidence to step into this deeply important role with assurance.
In 2012, the Singapore Workforce Development Agency appointed Thomson ParentCraft Centre to conduct the country's first formal Confinement Nanny Training Programme, an initiative that successfully trained over 100 women and helped them enter the workforce as professional confinement nannies. Since its relaunch in 2019 in partnership with WINGS, the programme has continued to grow, reaching more women and maintaining its standing as one of Singapore's most respected confinement nanny training courses.
If you are looking to begin a meaningful new chapter, whether returning to the workforce or building on your existing caregiving experience, this programme offers a well-supported and deeply credible place to start.
