Dr Ng Ying Woo completed his bachelor degree and master degree from National University of Singapore (NUS) in 1998 and 2008 respectively. In addition, he holds a Diploma in advance laparoscopy (Dip. Eur Gyn Endoscopy) from the renowned CHU Estaing laparoscopic centre,  Clermont Ferrand (France). Dr Ng is a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstericians & Gynaecologist as well as a newly appointed council representative (Singapore) in the Asia-Oceania federation of obstetrics & Gynecology.

At the forefront of surgery for management of sub-fertility and gynaecological conditions, Dr Ng Ying Woo is one of the pioneers in Singapore to develop the application of single incision laparoscopic surgery (SILS) in gynaecology since 2009. He has since then performed more than 400 SILS surgeries successfully for gynaecological conditions such as fibroids, endometriosis and fertility regulation for family planning. In addition, Dr Ng also performed Da Vinci robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgery and mini-laparoscopy. He is also a member of the Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgeons of Asia Pacific.

Dr Ng is a council member of the Obstetrical & Gynaecological Society of Singapore (OGSS) and is an activist in promoting women’s health. As such, he enjoys organizing public outreach programs to empower women in making informed decisions about their healthcare. Dr Ng is dedicated to offering the best obstetrics and gynecological care for his patients. As a father, he understands the challenges of parents and takes pride in partnering patients in their healthcare journey.

Dr Ng is a Specialist in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and has a special interest in single incision laparoscopy.
