Also known as endometrial cancer, this condition affects the inner lining of the uterus and is the most common cancer of the female genital tract in Singapore. A less common subtype, uterine sarcoma, affects the outer muscular lining.

• Endometrial biopsy
• Hysteroscopy

For most patients, treatment involves a hysterectomy (the surgical removal of the uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries), which can be carried out using either minimally invasive or open techniques.
