Dr Tan Wei Keat (Andy) is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, with over 15 years of experience. To date, he has performed more than 600 minimally invasive surgeries including robotic gynaecology surgeries. His specialty is in minimally invasive and robotic surgeries (MIRS), while his sub-specialty is in endometriosis and pelvic pain.

Dr Tan graduated from RCSI Dublin in 2007 and obtained his Master’s degree at the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2014. He further honed his skills through a one-year Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) clinical fellowship program at Rigshospitalet Copenhagen, Denmark, in 2019. This experience allowed him to train alongside esteemed surgeons in one of Europe's largest endometriosis referral centers, further enriching his knowledge and dedication to MIRS.

Before joining private practice, Dr Tan was a consultant in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (O&G) at the Singapore General Hospital (SGH). During his stint, he headed and started the endometriosis and pelvic pain clinic service.

Besides his clinical work, Dr Tan serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School, a clinical lecturer at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS, and a core physician faculty member for the O&G Residency Programme, shaping the next generation of medical professionals.

Dr Tan was a recipient of the Service with a Heart award, an award for SGH staff for displaying service excellence in their course of work.

Dr Tan is accredited to perform surgical procedures at several hospitals including Thomson Medical Centre.
