Dr Chotai Niketa Chandrakant is a diagnostic radiologist at RadLink Diagnostic Imaging Center, at various locations in Singapore such as Orchard and Novena. With over a decade of experience as a Breast Radiologist, Dr Chotai is highly regarded for her expertise in breast imaging.
Dr Chotai's medical journey began with an MD in Radiodiagnosis from King Edward Memorial Hospital, Mumbai University, followed by a Diplomate from the National Board in Delhi, India. After practising as a consultant radiologist for five years in India, she pursued her FRCR from the Royal College of Radiology in the UK. She further advanced her skills by completing advanced specialist training (AST) in Singapore and a breast imaging fellowship at the University of Toronto, Canada.
Dr Chotai is an active member of several prestigious societies, including the Singapore Medical Council, the Royal College of Radiology, London, and the Maharashtra Medical Council, India. She has played a significant role in continued medical education, particularly in the breast imaging subsection of the Singapore Radiology Society, where she served as General Secretary from 2017 to 2019. She is also the co-founder and Director at Best Imaging Education and Diagnostics (BIEDX).
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Chotai is deeply involved in research and has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals. She is also passionate about teaching and has conducted numerous courses and workshops on breast imaging and intervention in South Asia. Her commitment to education and advancing breast care is further reflected in her contributions to literature in the field, aimed at fostering a healthier global community.
Dr. Chandrakant is accredited to practice at Thomson Medical Centre, and Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
