Dr Kowa Nam Sing

Dr Kowa Nam Sing is an Obstetrics & Gynaecology Specialist at the Kowa Clinic & Surgery for Women, in Orchard.

Dr Kowa's specialities include obstetrics and gynaecology, with a particular focus on perinatal medicine. He has significant experience in managing high-risk pregnancies and is skilled in the use of ultrasound for diagnostic and monitoring purposes. Dr Kowa completed his medical education at the National University of Singapore, graduating with an MBBS in 1976. He then undertook his traineeship at the University Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at KK Women's and Children's Hospital, where he obtained his MRCOG in June 1980 and his Master of Medicine (O&G) in December 1980. Dr Kowa was also awarded the Fellowship of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (FAMS).

His post-graduate training includes a prestigious HMDP Scholarship to the USA in 1982, where he specialised in perinatal medicine at the University of California, San Diego, and Women & Infants Hospital in Rhode Island. He further honed his skills with a Visiting Fellowship at Kings College Hospital in the UK, focusing on ultrasound training in 1984/85.

Dr Koh is accredited to perform surgical procedures at Thomson Medical Centre, Gleneagles Hospital, and Mount Elizabeth Hospital.
