Dr Seng Shay Way is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist practising at Seng's O G Practice in Orchard.
He is highly regarded for his expertise in reproductive medicine, fertility treatment, and gynaecological surgery. His practice encompasses a wide range of services, including the management of reproductive disorders, infertility, and minimally invasive gynaecological surgeries aimed at fertility preservation.
Dr Seng graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, after which he pursued his internship and specialised training in obstetrics and gynaecology at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) and KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH) in Singapore. He was subsequently admitted to the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in London. His sub-speciality training in reproductive medicine and fertility was completed at the Centre for Reproductive Medicine and Fertility at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, UK, under a Ministry of Health (MOH) Human Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) scholarship. Additionally, he earned a Master of Reproductive Medicine from the University of New South Wales in 2009.
With over 15 years of experience, Dr Seng is a MOH-certified reproductive specialist. He has served on the executive council of the Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Singapore (OGSS) and is an active member of both OGSS and the Society of Colposcopy & Cervical Pathology of Singapore. His commitment to the community is reflected in his roles on the welfare committees of the Sree Narayana Home for the Aged Sick and the Meranti Home in Pelangi Village.
His academic contributions include postgraduate teaching at KKH, with a particular research focus on Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), recurrent miscarriages, IVF cycle management, and endometriosis treatments. His surgical expertise includes both abdominal and laparoscopic procedures, with a strong emphasis on fertility preservation.
