Dr Wei-Wei Wee-Stekly is a Senior Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist practising at Wei-Wei Clinic for Women.

Dr Wee-Stekly graduated from Guy’s, King’s & St. Thomas’ School of Medicine, Kings College London, with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree (MBBS) in 2003. She obtained both her postgraduate degrees, MRCOG (UK) and Master of Medicine in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (Singapore), in 2010 and 2011 respectively. She is currently both a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, United Kingdom, and a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.

Prior to private practice, Dr Wee-Stekly was a Senior Consultant with the Minimally Invasive Surgery Unit of Kandang Kerbau Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH) in Singapore. In addition to delivering many babies over the years, Dr Wee-Stekly also specialises in gynae-laparoscopy (key-hole surgery). In 2014, she received the Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) Award for training in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery, subspecialising in Endometriosis, in Switzerland. She completed her fellowship training under the guidance of her mentor, the world-renowned gynae-laparoscopic surgeon, Professor Dr Michael Mueller, at the reputable Bern Inselspital Hospital, Switzerland. Being a Level 3 accredited laparoscopic trainer in KK Hospital, Dr Wee-Stekly is actively involved in teaching and training other gynaecologists both locally and regionally, to perform safe laparoscopy. She was a Clinical Educator and Adjunct Instructor for the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (YLLSoM), NUS, a Physician Faculty Member for the OBGYN Residency Programme, Singapore, and an Adjunct Assistant Professor of the YLLSoM and SingHealth DUKE-NUS OBGYN ACP.

Being an advocate for minimally invasive surgery, Dr Wee-Stekly is the Secretary for the Society for Gynaecological Minimally Invasive Surgery Singapore (SGMIS), which has organised many conferences, educational forums and surgical training opportunities in minimally invasive surgery for gynaecologist in the Asia-Pacific region. She is a member of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society of Singapore (OGSS), Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology of Singapore (SCCPS) and a Fellow of the Academic of Medicine, Singapore (FAMS). Dr Wee-Stekly has published in numerous medical journals and has been invited to speak at medical conferences and forums. In addition, she has been invited to be a trainer at surgical workshops, both locally and internationally.

With a wealth of clinical experience and being a proud mother of 3 beautiful girls, Dr Wee-Stekly is understanding towards the needs of women and is committed to providing optimal care and support to all her patients.
