Dr Woo Bit Hwa is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist (O&G) who currently practises at Thomson Women’s Clinics in Punggol and Tiong Bahru.

He is experienced in managing common gynaecological conditions such as fibroids, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, menopause, and menstrual problems. He is also proficient in gynaecological and minimally invasive surgeries. Additionally, he is also trained and accredited to safely perform medical and surgical termination of pregnancy procedures in accordance with Singaporean legal guidelines.

Dr Woo obtained his MBBS from the National University of Singapore in 1990. From 1990 to 2001, he served at Alexandra Hospital, Singapore General Hospital, and KK Hospital. In 1996, he obtained his postgraduate qualifications: MRCOG (UK) and MMed (O&G) (Singapore).

Prior to joining private practice, he left KK Hospital in 2001. During his time there, he played a key role in caring for patients with high-risk pregnancies and pregnancies involving antenatally diagnosed birth defects. He maintained and conducted research on both the KK Hospital Birth Defect Registry and the National Birth Defect Registry.
