Dr Khoo Chong Kiat is a Senior Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. He operates his own private practice, CK KHOO Clinic for Women &amp; Laparoscopy. Prior to this, he had served 20 years of public service, with the Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) Unit at KK Women’s &amp; Children’s Hospital, Singapore. Recognised for his exceptional patient care, Dr Khoo received several Gold Service Stars awards during his 20-year tenure at KK Hospital.Dr Khoo did his HMDP Fellowship in Endometriosis &amp; Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) under the mentorship of renowned Professor Michel Canis in Clermont-Ferrand, France in 2010. He holds the European University Diploma of Gynaecologic Operative Endoscopy, awarded from CHU- Clermont Ferrand. Upon return, he helped to set up the KK Endometriosis Centre in 2011.Dr Khoo has also often been invited as a teaching faculty and international speaker at various MIS conferences around the world, eg, APAGE, AAGL, ESGE, and ISGE over the years. His favourite topics include laparoscopic myomectomies, cystectomies, hysterectomies, contained in-bag fibroid morcellation, and ectopic pregnancies. He was involved in the teaching and training of KK MIS overseas fellows from Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Germany. Given his extensive Asia Pacific MIS networking links, he is currently serving as the Vice Secretary-General of APAGE.As for his academic contributions, Dr Khoo was appointed Adjunct Assistant Professorships in all three of Singapore's medical schools: YLL-NUS School of Medicine, DUKE-NUS Medical School, and the newly established LKC-NTU School of Medicine. He was also the inaugural Core Faculty member of the SingHealth ACP O&amp;G Residency Programme, training the future generations of O&amp;G specialists. In 2016, Dr Khoo won a Macy scholarship as a clinician-educator at Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA. As his contributions to local O&amp;G professional bodies, Dr Khoo served previously as the Treasurer and Honorary Secretary of the College of O&amp;G, Singapore. He was also the Section Head of Gynae-Endoscopy (2018-2020). He is currently a lifetime member in the O&amp;G Society of Singapore. Dr Khoo is also a certified colposcopist with the Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology of Singapore. Besides being an internationally renowned MIS gynaecologist, Dr Khoo was also one of the busiest obstetrician in the largest public hospital in Singapore before leaving for private practice. Dr Khoo is accredited to perform surgical procedures at Thomson Medical Centre and Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital.

Dr. Natalie Chua specialises mainly in obstetric care, which includes preconception health screening, antenatal care and delivery. She also specialises in gynaecological cancer screening and prevention, and the management of common gynaecological problems.Sporting a pleasant demeanour and open, honest communication, she has helped and supported many women with their O&amp;G needs. Dr. Chua has a firm belief in nurturing both doctors as well as parents. To this end, she has helped develop aspiring O&amp;G trainees to display the same level of care and professionalism she exhibits. Professionally, she was an elected Council Member of the Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Singapore (2010 to 2015), served as the Chairman of the 12th and 13th Regional MRCOG Preparatory Course for aspiring gynaecologists, and was the O&amp;G representative for the Association for Breastfeeding Advocacy (ABAS) from 2011 to 2013.

Mentored by Professor Wu Cheng Yu from the same university, she has developed a keen interest in fertility, TCM gynaecology, pain management, confinement care (including lactation), mental wellness, and skin disorders. “As a child growing up in a Chinese family, I visited TCM physicians more often than Western practitioners. While I was impressed by the vast array of herbs and medicines, what intrigued me the most was acupuncture and its ability to heal simply by inserting needles into the body. Fast forward two decades, I happened to consult a TCM physician who provided me with information on becoming certified in the field of Chinese Medicine. Since then, I have acquired extensive knowledge and experience as a TCM practitioner, specialising in acupuncture and Chinese herbs.” Physician Ho graduated from the Singapore College of TCM. Over the years, he has applied acupuncture techniques to treat and manage various internal medicine conditions, as well as provide pain management. “I was born into a family with three generations of medical practitioners. My grandparents have been TCM practitioners since the 1930s, and my mother was a GP who practiced both Western medicine and acupuncture. This upbringing has inspired me to explore better treatment approaches to help patients, and I strongly believe that there is vast untapped potential in TCM!” Dr. Ou graduated from Guangzhou University of TCM and worked as a TCM Physician at Rongqi Hospital in Guangdong, China before relocating to Singapore. In Singapore, she holds the position of senior TCM Physician and serves as a lecturer at the Singapore College of TCM. She obtained her PhD in TCM from Nanjing University of TCM in 2009. Dr. Ou has a keen interest in utilising acupuncture and Chinese medicine for fertility, TCM gynaecology, pain management, confinement care, mental wellness, and gastrointestinal health. Physician Ho Chin Ee is a graduate of Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM) with a Double Degree in Biomedical Sciences and Chinese Medicine with honours. She was awarded a scholarship to pursue a Masters in TCM at BUCM, where she had the opportunity to work alongside renowned physicians in TCM gynaecology, paediatrics, internal medicine, and acupuncture. Ms. Ho’s clinical expertise encompasses the application of TCM Paediatric Tui Na and herbal medicine for children with common respiratory and digestive conditions. In addition, she employs various TCM techniques to effectively treat and manage a range of conditions in adults, including gastrointestinal disorders such as reflux, gastritis, and irritable bowel syndrome. Her expertise extends to women’s health, addressing concerns such as infertility, fibroids, endometriosis, irregular menstrual cycles, and postpartum confinement care. Furthermore, she has a keen interest in TCM dermatology and pain management. Ms. Ho is a fully registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Physician with the TCM Practitioners Board (TCMPB) and a member of the Academy of Chinese Medicine Singapore as well as the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies. Dr Radhika Lakshmanan is an accredited Breast Surgeon with Thomson Medical Centre. She specialises in <a href="https://www.thomsonmedical.com/breast" target="_blank">breast</a> and oncoplastic surgery, offering comprehensive care for a wide range of breast conditions, including <a href="https://www.thomsonmedical.com/blog/womens-health/breast-cancer" target="_blank">breast cancer</a>, benign breast lumps, cysts, and male breast disorders such as gynecomastia. Dr Radhika obtained her medical degree (MBBS) from the National University of Singapore in 1997, followed by a Master of Medicine in Surgery. She became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2008. Her advanced training in oncoplastic and reconstructive breast surgery was completed at the prestigious Nottingham Breast Institute in the United Kingdom, where she served as an Honorary Clinical Fellow. This fellowship, supported by the Ministry of Health's Human Manpower Development Program, allowed her to refine her expertise in managing complex breast conditions and performing advanced surgical techniques.Before moving into private practice, Dr Radhika held the position of Clinical Lead in Surgery at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, a joint medical school by Nanyang Technological University and Imperial College London. Her commitment to education extends to the public, as she actively participates in breast cancer awareness seminars and contributes to the Singapore Breast Cancer Foundation and Singapore Cancer Society.

Dr Phuah Huan Kee is an accredited Paediatrician with Thomson Medical Centre. He has a sub-specialty in paediatric neurology, and practises at SBCC Baby &amp; Child Clinic in Orchard.Dr Phuah has expertise in managing a wide range of neurological disorders in children, including epilepsy, headaches, developmental delays, and involuntary movements. He is also proficient in handling acute neurological emergencies, such as meningitis, encephalitis, and strokes. His practice focuses on providing comprehensive evaluations and personalised care for children with these conditions.He obtained his MBBS in 1989 and Master of Medicine (Paediatrics) in 1994 from the National University of Singapore. Dr Phuah further honed his skills as a Child Neurology Fellow at the Children's Hospital of Alabama, USA, from 1997 to 2000. In 2004, he was awarded the Fellowship of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.Before entering private practice, Dr Phuah was a Consultant at KKH, where he led the Neurology Service and served on the hospital's Medical Board. He has contributed to paediatric neurology research, securing SingHealth grants to study the use of portable Video EEG monitoring for diagnosing seizures in children and developing a database for seizure disorders.

Dr Dharshini Gopalakrishnakone is a Specialist Consultant for <a href="https://www.thomsonmedical.com/speciality/obstetrics-gynaecology" target="_blank">Obstetrician and Gynaecologist</a> at Kierauniv International Clinic for Women, in Novena.Dr Dharshini Gopalakrishnakone is experienced in both natural childbirth and caesarean sections. She is highly skilled in gynaecological surgeries, including hysterectomies, <a href="https://www.thomsonmedical.com/blog/womens-health/myomectomy-fibroid-removal-surgery" target="_blank">myomectomies</a>, and cystectomies. In August 2011, she won the first prize for oral presentation at the Singapore International Congress on Obstetrics and Gynaecology for her paper on encephalitis related to ovarian dermoid cysts. Prof Yeo is currently a Visiting Consultant to the Division of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the KK Women’s &amp; Children’s Hospital. He is also a Professor at Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School and Clinical Associate Professor at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. Contributions to the care of pregnant women in Singapore Professor Yeo organised the First International Scientiﬁc Meeting of ISUOG in 2004, started the first Singapore ISUOG-Outreach Course in 2005, and directed the programmes at the ISUOG Teaching and Training Centre in Singapore. He chaired the ISUOG World Congress in Singapore in 2018 and he has been the organising Chairman of the annual Singapore ISUOG Approved Course for the last 15 years. Professor Yeo is an early pioneer of Maternal Fetal Medicine in Singapore. His pursuit of excellence has led to many merits including high practice standards in:<ol><li>Obstetrics ultrasound, screening, diagnosis, and intervention.</li><li>Antenatal invasive procedures such as<ol><li>amniocentesis and chorionic villous sampling,</li><li>fetal blood sampling and fetal transfusion,</li><li>laser photocoagulation for the treatment of Twin-to-Twin Transfusion,</li><li>fetal chest shunting and other fetal surgery like cord ligation etc.</li></ol></li><li>The care for high-risk pregnancy<ol><li>management of intra-uterine growth restriction,</li><li>prevention of severe pre-eclampsia and eclampsia,</li><li>prevention of postpartum hemorrhage,</li><li>rescue Cerclage for cervical incompetence.</li></ol></li></ol>*Professor Yeo was the Director of the Antenatal Diagnostic Centre, at KK Hospital from 1993 to 2019. He was the first clinician to successfully conduct in-utero fetal transfusion and laser photocoagulation for Twin-to-Twin Transfusion in Singapore and is still among the very few clinicians proficient at these procedures here.Research AchievementsProfessor Yeo has a long-standing interest in clinical research stretching back more than 30 years. He has published widely in many areas of obstetrics and gynaecology. He has initiated numerous research projects, including collaborative research with international bodies, and is still involved in many clinical research projects.He has more than 200 papers and abstracts in indexed journals and speaks regularly to schools as well as national and international conferences. He graduated with distinction from medical school in London, UK, and completed rigorous plastic surgery training at the Singapore General Hospital. Dr Wee Chee Keong's main clinical interest is in acute stroke treatment.

Dr Wee completed his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at the National University of Singapore in 2004, and became a member of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) in 2009. He subsequently completed specialty training in neurology in 2013. He received the Health Manpower Development award in 2015 and pursued a year of fellowship training in Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth, Australia.

During his time of service in National Neuroscience Institute (NNI) at both Singapore General Hospital and Changi General Hospital campuses, Dr Wee helped to develop and refine treatment protocols of acute stroke patients. He was also the chief medical informatics officer for NNI. He is also a visiting consultant with the Singapore General Hospital.

A keen advocate for patients, Dr Wee co-chaired the inaugural Brain Awareness Carnival in 2017, which was NNI's outreach programme to help the community learn about prevention and treatment of neurological disorders. As an educator, Dr Wee was a faculty member of the neurology senior residency programme, and an adjunct assistant professor with Duke-NUS medical school. In 2018, he also co-chaired the 17th Singapore International Stroke conference.

Dr Chong Jin Ho graduated with MBBS from NUS and obtained his MRCPCH(UK). He completed his paediatric training in KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKWCH) and was accredited as a specialist for Paediatric Medicine. He was a Fellow in the Academy of Medicine (Singapore). He subsequently obtained his Diploma in Practical Dermatology and the Master of Science in Practical Dermatology from Cardiff University, United Kingdom. He received the Ministry of Health (MOH) HMDP award in 2015 and did his subspecialty training at the Department of Paediatric Dermatology, National Centre for Rare Skin Disorders, Hôpital Pellégrin-Enfants at Bordeaux, France under Professor Alain Taïeb, the current President of the International Society of Atopic Dermatitis (ISAD) and Dr Christine Léauté-Labrèze who serendipitously discovered the use of propranolol to treat infantile hemangiomas. He runs his solo practice at Dr Chong Kids Medical and Eczema Clinic and sees general pediatric conditions and skin disorders in children. Dr Chong was a Consultant in the Department of General Paediatrics as well as the Dermatology Service at KKWCH. He was an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School, an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Paediatrics, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and a clinical teacher in Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. Dr Low is an obstetrician &amp; gynaecologist. After graduating from the National University of Singapore in 1988, Dr Low received her O&amp;G training in KK Women’s &amp; Children’s Hospital where she completed her Master of Medicine (Singapore) and became a member of The Royal Australian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 1996 and a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine of Singapore (O&amp;G) in 1999. Dr Low's service as a consultant at KK Hospital, one of the busiest maternity and women’s hospitals in Southeast Asia, has provided her with many years of experience in the management and treatment of gynaecological issues (including endometriosis, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, pelvic/genital infections, etc), Pap smear abnormalities, colposcopy and fertility challenges and treatment. Dr Low is experienced in laparoscopic surgery, and she has a special interest in the management of menopausal issues. She played a pivotal role in organising the Menopause department in KK Hospital before she left public practice in 2003. Dr Low’s warm and amicable personality has earned her several Certificates of Service Commendation from KK Hospital and the Ministry of Health. Dr Thor Timothy Anuntapon Chutatape is a consultant Anaesthesiologist at Novena Pain Management Centre, in Novena.Dr. Thor Timothy specialises in Pain Medicine with a focus on both acute and chronic pain management. His expertise includes minimally invasive interventional pain techniques such as spinal cord stimulation, intrathecal pump placement, and radiofrequency neuromodulation and ablation techniques.
