Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT)
Precise radiation for tumours in the body, in just a few sessions
Stereotactic body radiotherapy, or SBRT, is a highly precise form of radiation therapy used to treat tumours in the body, such as in the lung, liver, or spine. It delivers a focused, high dose to a small, well-defined target over just a few sessions, without an incision — the beams are shaped and aimed so that they converge on the tumour while limiting the dose to nearby healthy tissue.
Our radiation oncology team considers SBRT as part of comprehensive cancer care, assessing whether it is suitable for your diagnosis and planning your treatment around your needs.
Whether SBRT is used on its own or alongside other treatments such as surgery, systemic therapy, or other radiotherapy, we are committed to care that supports both your physical health and emotional well-being — and to being by your side every step of the way.
