Dr Ada Ng Xin Hui

Dr Ada Ng is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist currently practising at Ada Ng Clinic for Women in Novena. 

Dr Ng was the youngest doctor in her department to receive the Singapore Health Quality Service Awards at the Silver, Gold and Star levels from 2017 to 2019. 

Her clinical practice spans obstetrics and gynaecology, with a stated subspecialty focus on obstetrics. She supports women throughout pregnancy and tailors care to each individual journey. 

Dr Ng graduated from King’s College London, UK, in 2011. Her medical qualification is listed as MBBS (University of London, UK), 2011. In 2017, she obtained MRCOG (UK) and became a member of the Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology in London, United Kingdom. She completed the SingHealth residency training in June 2019. 

Prior to private practice, Dr Ng was a Consultant in the Division of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, a role she took up in 2019. Earlier, she served as Administrative Chief Resident in the SingHealth Obstetrics and Gynaecology Residency from 2016 to 2017. In 2018, she was Chief Resident in the SingHealth Leadership Residency Program. 

Outside her clinical duties, Dr Ng has been involved in teaching junior doctors and medical students. She has also organised preparatory courses for postgraduate examinations. In recognition of her contributions to education, she received the Best Duke-NUS GMS Resident Educator Award in 2014 and the Inspiring Resident Educator Award in 2015/2016. Her service recognitions include the Service from the Heart Award in 2013 and 2017. Her published work includes articles and case reports relating to obstetrics and gynaecology, medical education, gynaecologic oncology and minimally invasive surgery. 

Dr Ng is accredited to perform surgical procedures at Thomson Medical Centre.
