Dr Bruce Ang Chia Liang is a Senior Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon currently practising at Centurion Orthopaedic Centre in Novena and Farrer Park.
With more than 20 years of Orthopaedic experience, Dr Ang has performed more than 6000 orthopaedic surgeries and more than 1500 knee surgeries. His work is distinguished by this breadth of surgical experience.
Subspecialising in joint reconstruction, sports orthopaedics, and fracture surgery, Dr Ang manages a range of musculoskeletal conditions, including knee problems, sports injuries, joint degeneration, shoulder, hip, ankle, and back conditions. He provides both non-surgical and surgical care, including minimally invasive treatment of joint conditions, joint replacements, and fractures.
Dr Ang obtained his Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the National University of Singapore. He is also a Member of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MRCSEd), Scotland, UK. His postgraduate qualifications include Master of Medicine (MMed)(Orthopaedic Surgery), National University of Singapore, and Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Orthopaedics and Traumatology (FRCSEd), Scotland, UK.
Prior to joining private practice, Dr Ang worked at Singapore General Hospital and The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in the UK.
Besides clinical work, Dr Ang conducts workshops for general practitioners and also gives public and corporate talks. As part of his professional contributions, he hosts regional doctors on learning trips to Singapore. He has published widely and authored numerous chapters on Knee Replacements and Knee Arthroscopy.
Dr Ang is accredited to perform surgical procedures at Thomson Medical Centre.
