Dr Celene Hui Yan Yan

Dr Celene Hui Yan Yan is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, Founder and Director of Evia Specialist Centre for Women located in Novena.

Dr Hui specialises in the management of common benign gynaecological conditions including uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, and abnormal uterine bleeding, through evidence-based, minimally invasive approaches.

She is an accredited Advanced (Level 3) Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) Surgeon with extensive experience in minimally invasive and ultra–minimally invasive gynaecological surgery, with a special interest in vNOTES (vaginal natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery). 

She holds iNOTES certification (International NOTES Society for vNOTES) and has authored peer-reviewed publications in scientific journals, including work on vNOTES surgical techniques.

Dr Hui graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, and holds MMed (O&G), MRCOG (UK), and FAMS (O&G). She was previously a Consultant in the Minimally Invasive Surgery Unit at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Singapore.

She is actively involved in education and research, having served as Clinical Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School and Lecturer at NUS and NTU. She is a Council Member of the Obstetrical & Gynaecological Society of Singapore (OGSS) and a founding member of the Society for Gynaecologic Minimally Invasive Surgery (SGMIS). She has also contributed to the AOFOG Minimally Invasive Surgery Special Interest Group and serves as Scientific Chair and faculty at regional and international congresses, including the Asian Congress of Endometriosis (ACE), Singapore International Congress of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (SICOG), and Asia-Pacific Association for Gynecologic Endoscopy and Minimally Invasive Therapy (APAGE).
