Dr Ivan Chua Tjun Huat is an Orthopaedic Surgeon currently practising at Orthopaedics International, with clinics located in Novena and Thomson Road.

With more than a decade of clinical experience, Dr Chua's subspecialty interests span orthopaedic trauma and sports injuries, joint replacement and reconstruction, orthogeriatrics, osteoporosis and bone health, as well as limb deformity reconstruction. He has also contributed to the development of orthogeriatric care models to support elderly fracture patients through coordinated multidisciplinary care.

Dr Chua graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2003 and completed his specialist training in orthopaedic surgery in 2013. In 2014, he was awarded the AO Trauma Fellowship, during which he undertook a six-week fellowship in computer-assisted orthopaedic trauma surgery. He also received the Ministry of Health Health Manpower Development Plan award, which supported a one-year training programme in orthopaedic trauma surgery at the Trauma Unit of Foothills Hospital, University of Calgary, Canada, from 2015 to 2016.

Prior to entering private practice, Dr Chua served in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, where he was the Head of the Orthopaedic Trauma Service. He continues to contribute to public healthcare as a Visiting Consultant at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and Woodlands Health Campus.

Dr Chua is actively involved in professional and academic activities within the orthopaedic community. He currently serves as Chairman of the Singapore Orthopaedic Trauma Society and the Fragility Fracture Network Singapore, and is the Education Officer of the AO Trauma Singapore Council. He has authored or co-authored more than 20 scientific publications and has presented at various local and regional scientific meetings related to orthopaedic trauma surgery and orthogeriatric care.
