Dr Poh Keng Soon is a fellowship-trained Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon currently practising at Orthopaedic and Hand Surgery Partners in Napier and Thomson Rd. He has extensive experience in treating a broad spectrum of orthopaedic conditions, including sports injuries, trauma, inflammatory disorders, overuse syndromes, and degenerative conditions. Before establishing his private practice, he spent over 15 years in the public healthcare sector.

Specialising in minimally invasive keyhole (arthroscopic) and joint replacement (arthroplasty) surgeries, Dr Poh has a particular focus on the shoulder and elbow joints, performing procedures such as rotator cuff repairs and reconstruction for recurrent dislocations.

He has extensive experience in shoulder replacement surgeries for arthritis, routinely integrating computer planning and 3D-printed patient-specific instrumentation to achieve precise implant placement and optimal clinical outcomes. Additionally, he is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, where he plays an active role in undergraduate and postgraduate orthopaedic education.

Previously, he practised at National University Hospital (NUH) and Alexandra Hospital, where he was a key member of the Sports Medicine, Shoulder and Elbow Division, managing a high volume of both routine and complex orthopaedic cases related to the shoulder and elbow joints. He also contributed significantly to medical education as a core faculty member of the National Postgraduate Year 1 Programme for Orthopaedic Surgery, a structured training programme designed for junior doctors.

Dr Poh is accredited to perform surgical procedures at Thomson Medical Centre.
