Dr Sabrina Ngaserin Ng Hui Na is a Senior Consultant Breast Surgeon and Medical Director of Breast Surgery Care Partners, with clinics located in Novena and Orchard.
Dr Ngaserin has over 15 years of clinical experience and subspecialises in oncoplastic and minimally invasive breast surgery. Her areas of expertise include the treatment of various breast conditions, such as breast cancer, benign lumps and cysts, microcalcifications, axillary disorders, and inflammatory and fibroepithelial conditions. Dr Ngaserin is also trained in general surgery and endoscopy.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore. She also holds a Master of Medicine in Surgery and is a Fellow of both the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Academy of Medicine in Singapore. Dr Ngaserin completed her breast surgery fellowship under the Health Manpower Development Plan at Fiona Stanley Hospital and the Fremantle Hospital Group in Australia, and undertook further training at leading centres in South Korea, Taiwan, and Thailand.
Prior to entering private practice, she served as Head of Breast Surgery and Senior Consultant at Sengkang General Hospital and as Chief of the Breast Service at the SingHealth Duke-NUS Breast Centre. She continues to contribute to the public sector as a visiting senior consultant at the National University Hospital and the SingHealth Duke-NUS Breast Centre.
An advocate for education and surgical advancement, she is also an assistant professor at both Duke-NUS Medical School and the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. She led the development of an advanced breast surgery fellowship programme and is the founding director of the Minimally Invasive Breast Surgery Symposium in Singapore. Dr Ngaserin has also authored textbook chapters and served as faculty for live surgical workshops and international teaching programmes.
She is also actively involved in research. She has had work published in peer-reviewed journals and regularly speaks at local and international scientific conferences. Her work focuses on breast surgery, surgical innovation and minimally invasive techniques.
Dr Ngaserin is accredited to perform surgical procedures at Thomson Medical Centre.
