Dr Steve Yang Tze Yi is a Specialist in Respiratory Medicine currently practising at The Respiratory Practice in Thomson Road, Telok Kurau Road, Orchard, Farrer Park, Napier, and Jurong East.

Dr Yang is an experienced Respiratory and Critical Care (Intensive Care Medicine) Specialist since 2003 with clinical interests including Critical Care, Interstitial Lung Disease, and End-stage Lung Diseases.

Dr Yang obtained his basic medical degree from the National University of Singapore in 1994. He subsequently received training in Respiratory Medicine and Intensive Care Medicine at Singapore General Hospital (SGH). He further trained in Intensive Care Medicine and Interstitial Lung Disease at the University of Washington Medical Centre in Seattle, USA. His qualifications include MRCP (Int Med) (RCP, Edinburgh, United Kingdom), 2000, EDIC (European Society of Intensive Care Med, Belgium), 2006, and FAMS (Academy of Medicine, Singapore), 2012. In addition, he has obtained Fellowship with the College of Chest Physicians (USA), the Chapter of Respiratory Physicians (Singapore), and the Chapter of Intensive Care Physicians (Singapore).

Before entering private practice, Dr Yang served as Chairman of IRB-D, a subcommittee of SingHealth’s Centralized IRB. Alongside this, he has also been involved with research in Critical Care and Interstitial Lung Disease, and has published in both local and overseas medical journals. He is also a regular reviewer for the Singapore Medical Journal, Respirology, and Respiratory Care.
