Internationally, Dr Teoh has contributed to several medical and anti-doping committees. She previously served as Secretary of the International Hockey Federation Medical Committee and was a member of the Anti-Doping Committee of the International Paralympic Committee and the Therapeutic Use Exemption Expert Advisory Group of the World Anti-Doping Agency. She has been actively involved in medical services planning for the Commonwealth Games as part of the Anti-Doping and Medical Commission of the Commonwealth Games Federation.
For the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), she serves on the Medical Commission and has worked as a Supervisory Doctor at international competitions, including the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023. In 2024, she was appointed to the Gender Equity Committee of the Olympic Council of Asia.
Her contributions to sports and healthcare have been recognised through several awards, including the Public Service Medal (2019), Healthcare Humanity Award (2020), National Healthcare Group (NHG) Outstanding Citizenship Award (2022), NHG Distinguished Achievement Award (2025), and the Singapore Disability Sports Council Community Changemaker of the Year for PlayBuddy (2023). Outside her clinical and committee roles, Dr Teoh is a certified facilitator of Stephen Covey’s The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. She is passionate about mentoring young adults and maintains her active lifestyle through walking and hiking, transitioning from earlier years in competitive track and field, squash, and long-distance running.
