Dr Watt Wing Fong is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a special interest in medical disorders in pregnancy and peripartum management. She currently practices at her clinic, The Obstetrics & Gynaecology Centre located at Napier.
With over two decades of experience in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology, Dr Watt provides obstetric and gynaecological services, including antenatal care and delivery, preconception and fertility checks, well-women screening, management of unintended pregnancy, and management of general gynaecological problems. She performs colposcopy and gynaecological surgeries, including laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. Her practice includes care for patients with menstrual-related problems, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, and fibroids.
Dr Watt graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 1994. She obtained her postgraduate qualification from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (UK) in 1998 and completed her advanced specialty training at Kandang Kerbau Hospital in Singapore. Dr Watt received her Specialist Accreditation with the Ministry of Health Singapore and Singapore Medical Council in 2002.
Dr Watt has worked at Kandang Kerbau Women's and Children's Hospital, where she received the Young Investigator Award at the hospital's Annual Scientific Meeting in 1999. She has also worked at Raffles Hospital, where she received the Service Star Award. She has provided obstetric and gynaecological care throughout her career.
Dr Watt is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine of Singapore and a member of the Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Singapore, the Society for Colposcopy & Cervical Pathology of Singapore, and the Singapore Medical Association. She previously served as a clinical tutor for the National University of Singapore and as a trainer for MRCOG courses. Dr Watt has contributed to developing protocols, guidelines, and standard documentation forms for labour ward use and has been involved in training labour ward nurses.
