Dr Wilson Tay Ching Yit is a Consultant Pain Specialist and Anaesthesiologist at Apicare Pain Clinic in Farrer Park, with extensive experience in managing chronic pain conditions.

Dr Tay graduated from the National University of Singapore and was awarded a Master of Medicine (Anaesthesiology) in 2009. Following his specialist training, Dr Tay pursued a multidisciplinary chronic pain clinical fellowship at St Joseph Hospital in London, Ontario, Canada, where he specialised in interventional procedures for managing chronic pain such as neck/back pain, headaches, abdominal pelvic pain, and cancer pain. Dr Tay is particularly skilled in performing ultrasound-guided chronic pain interventions, which reduce radiation exposure compared to traditional fluoroscopic techniques.

Upon completing his fellowship, Dr Tay returned to Singapore to consult at the Pain Management Centre and Department of Anaesthesiology at Singapore General Hospital (SGH). He further honed his skills and was awarded the Fellow of Interventional Pain Practice by the World Institute of Pain in 2014.

Dr Tay is actively involved in teaching and conducting hands-on chronic pain intervention workshops. He has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals and is frequently invited to speak at both local and international conferences on pain.

Dr Tay is accredited to perform surgical procedures at Thomson Medical Centre, Farrer Park Medical Centre, Gleneagles Hospital, and Singapore General Hospital.
