Dr Koh Jianyi Calvin is a Gastroenterologist practising at The Gastroenterology Group, in Orchard, Novena, Thomson, and Joo Chiat.Dr Koh specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, with particular expertise in interventional endoscopy, pancreatobiliary disease, and the management of gastric and colon cancer. His proficiency extends to advanced endoscopic procedures, including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, <a href="https://www.thomsonmedical.com/find-an-expert/dr-koh-jianyi-calvin" target="_blank">endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)</a>, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), small bowel enteroscopy, and the removal of colon polyps through endoscopic mucosal resection.Dr Koh earned his medical degree (MBBS) from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and completed his specialist training at the National University Hospital (NUH). Dr Christopher Kong San Choon is a Consultant Gastroenterologist who currently practises at Pro Digestive Gastroenterology in Farrer Park.He has extensive experience in managing a wide range of gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary and pancreatic conditions. He has a particular interest in irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), liver and bile duct disorders, pancreatic diseases, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and gastrointestinal cancers. Dr Kong is skilled in performing a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, <a href="https://www.thomsonmedical.com/blog/endoscopic-ultrasound-singapore" target="_blank">endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)</a>, capsule endoscopy, Fibroscan and small bowel enteroscopy, using both balloon-assisted and motorised spiral techniques.Dr Kong graduated from Newcastle University in the United Kingdom and became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland in 1999. He completed specialist training in General Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology in the UK and was accredited to the UK Specialist Register in 2007. In recognition of his research in IBD, he was awarded a Doctorate in Medicine in 2008. He later completed an Endoscopic Ultrasound fellowship at St Thomas’ Hospital, London, under Singapore’s Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP).Before entering private practice, Dr Kong held senior roles at Singapore General Hospital (SGH), where he served as Director of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Centre. He later established and led the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Sengkang General Hospital.Other than clinical work, Dr Kong remains active in research and education. He has published in peer-reviewed journals, conducted clinical trials, and served as Clinical Fellow in Interventional Endoscopy at University College Hospital, London. He also teaches at Duke-NUS Medical School and the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.In 2019, he performed Southeast Asia’s first motorised spiral enteroscopy, a technique that allows for comprehensive small intestine evaluation in less time than usual enteroscopy.&nbsp;Dr Kong is accredited to perform gastroenterological procedures at Thomson Medical Centre.

Dr Quan Wai Leong is a Gastroenterologist and Interventional Endoscopist, practising at GI Endoscopy and Liver Centre @ Royal Square, in Novena. He has extensive expertise in advanced endoscopic procedures, including luminal stent placement, ERCP, Cholangioscopy, <a href="https://www.thomsonmedical.com/blog/endoscopic-ultrasound-singapore" target="_blank">Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)</a>, and Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR/ESD).Dr Quan graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the National University of Singapore in 1992. He further honed his skills as a visiting scholar at Prince of Wales Hospital in Hong Kong, specialising in Interventional Endoscopy. Dr Quan is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP Edin) and the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (FAMS) in Gastroenterology.Before his private practice, Dr Quan served as the Director of the Endoscopy Centre at Tan Tock Seng Hospital from 2010 to 2017. During his tenure, he established a computerised simulation training service for endoscopy and introduced the SpyGlass cholangioscopy system in Singapore, enhancing the treatment of large bile duct stones and complex strictures. Dr Wee Chee Keong's main clinical interest is in acute stroke treatment. Dr Wee completed his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at the National University of Singapore in 2004, and became a member of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) in 2009. He subsequently completed specialty training in <a href="https://www.thomsonmedical.com/speciality/neurology" target="_blank">neurology</a> in 2013. He received the Health Manpower Development award in 2015 and pursued a year of fellowship training in Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth, Australia. During his time of service in National Neuroscience Institute (NNI) at both Singapore General Hospital and Changi General Hospital campuses, Dr Wee helped to develop and refine treatment protocols of acute stroke patients. He was also the chief medical informatics officer for NNI. He is also a visiting consultant with the Singapore General Hospital. A keen advocate for patients, Dr Wee co-chaired the inaugural Brain Awareness Carnival in 2017, which was NNI's outreach programme to help the community learn about prevention and treatment of neurological disorders. As an educator, Dr Wee was a faculty member of the neurology senior residency programme, and an adjunct assistant professor with Duke-NUS medical school. In 2018, he also co-chaired the 17th Singapore International Stroke conference.

Dr Cindy Pang is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Ascensus – Cindy Pang Clinic for Women &amp; GynaeOncology, in Novena.Dr Pang’s main sub-specialty is in <a href="https://www.thomsonmedical.com/speciality/gynaecology/oncology" target="_blank">gynaecological cancers</a> and complex pelvic surgeries. On top of that, she provides <a href="https://www.thomsonmedical.com/blog/antenatal" target="_blank">antenatal care</a> to expectant mothers and manages a wide range of conditions related to the female reproductive system.Dr Pang graduated from National University of Singapore and obtained her membership to the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of the United Kingdom in 2008. In pursuit of her passion, she underwent further sub-specialty training at the renowned Western Australian Gynaecologic Cancer Services in Perth under the Health Manpower Development Plan, returning to practice in Singapore in 2013. She also won the prestigious Tony McCartney Surgical Innovation Award during her time in Australia.Dr Pang is an accredited colposcopist and trainer. Dr Natalie Chua is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, at Ascensus – Natalie Chua Clinic For Women, at Parkway East.Dr Chua specialises mainly in obstetric care, which includes preconception health screening, <a href="https://www.thomsonmedical.com/blog/antenatal" target="_blank">antenatal care</a> and <a href="https://www.thomsonmedical.com/blog/baby-delivery" target="_blank">delivery</a>. She also specialises in <a href="https://www.thomsonmedical.com/blog/gynaecological-cancer-screening" target="_blank">gynaecological cancer screening</a> and prevention, and the management of common gynaecological problems.Sporting a pleasant demeanour and open, honest communication, she has helped and supported many women with their O&amp;G needs. Dr Chua has a firm belief in nurturing both doctors as well as parents. To this end, she has helped develop aspiring O&amp;G trainees to display the same level of care and professionalism she exhibits. Dr Beh Suan Tiong is a Senior Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist running his practice, Ascensus - Beh Clinic for Women, in Thomson Medical Centre since 2004.&nbsp;Dr Beh graduated in 1987 and obtained his specialist membership from The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (UK) in 1993.&nbsp; His special interest is in <a href="https://www.thomsonmedical.com/speciality/minimally-invasive-surgery" target="_blank">minimally invasive surgery</a> and reproductive surgery and he received his further training in leading centres in the USA. He is actively involved in the development, training, and teaching of minimally invasive surgery (MIS) in Singapore and remains a visiting consultant in the MIS unit at KK Women's and Children's Hospital and the O&amp;G Department of Singapore General Hospital.A firm believer in continuous medical education, he has helped to organise numerous scientific meetings and taken part in many local and overseas congresses and workshops.&nbsp; He is actively involved in matters pertaining to O&amp;G and was the past President of the O&amp;G Society of Singapore 2007-2009. Dr Teoh obtained her Masters in Sports Medicine (Honours) from the United States of America in 1994, becoming Singapore’s first female sports and exercise medicine specialist. She is also a qualified acupuncturist. In her daily clinical practice, Dr Teoh cares for competitive and recreational athletes as well as people who simply enjoy exercising and keeping active. Indelibly impacted by her 19 days at the London 2012 Paralympics, her energies now extend to promoting sports and physical activity for the physically impaired and older persons, in addition to serving children and youth. For 30 years, Dr Teoh has been the attending team physician to Singapore’s elite athletes at major games. She was appointed Chief Medical Officer for Team Singapore to numerous games including the SEA, ASEAN Para, Commonwealth, Asian, Youth Olympic, Olympic and Paralympic Games. Between 2014 and 2018, she also led the medical support team for Singapore Schools to the annual ASEAN Schools Games. Dr Teoh is current Chair of the Therapeutic Use Exemption Committees of Anti-Doping Singapore, Women in Sport Committee of the Singapore National Olympic Council (SNOC), and Advisory Committee of the School of Sports, Health and Leisure of Republic Polytechnic (RP); Member of the RP Board of Governors and Medical Commission of SNOC; Director to the Board of the Singapore Sports School and Singapore Bowling Pte Ltd; Medical Advisor to Basketball Association of Singapore; and Past President of Sports Medicine Association of Singapore. In the international arena, Dr Teoh was former Secretary of the Medical Committee of the International Hockey Federation. She has contributed significantly as a Member of the Anti-Doping Committee of the International Paralympic Committee and TUE Expert Advisory Group of the World Anti-Doping Agency, working behind the scenes at both the Summer and Winter Paralympic Games. As a member of the Anti-Doping and Medical Commission of the Commonwealth Games Federation, she was actively involved in the 2022 Commonwealth Games. She was recently appointed as a member of the International Basketball Federation Medical Commission (FIBA) and served as a Supervisory Doctor at the FIBA World Cup in Manila 2023. In recognition of her long-standing service to Team Singapore, Dr Teoh was awarded the Public Service Medal at the National Day Awards 2019. In 2020, she was a winner in the Healthcare Humanity Awards for founding and leading PlayBuddy, an inclusive sports playgroup for children with varying physical abilities run entirely by volunteers. She received the National Healthcare Group (NHG) Outstanding Citizenship Award in 2022 for her contributions to NHG and taking on additional responsibilities outside her own portfolio. In 2023, PlayBuddy was awarded the Singapore Disability Sports Council Community Changemaker of the Year. Aside from her medical profession, Dr Teoh is also a certified facilitator of Stephen Covey’s The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People personal leadership development solution, and finds great satisfaction in mentoring young adults. He is one of the pioneers in Southeast Asia for performing laparoscopic urogynaecological procedures, such as Burch colposuspension and sacrocolpopexy.In addition to his clinical work, Dr Lin is actively involved in medical education. He serves as a clinical lecturer for undergraduate students at NUS and is a core faculty member for postgraduate education at NUH. He has also mentored 10 gynecologic surgeons and chaired the Gynaecologic Accreditation Committee at NUH, overseeing the credentialing process for gynaecologic consultants.Beyond his surgical expertise, Dr Lin has contributed to public education through events like the Endometriosis Awareness Campaign and the Urogynaecology Awareness Week. Dr Kelvin Tan Guoping is a consultant <a href="https://www.thomsonmedical.com/speciality/orthopaedic">orthopaedic</a> surgeon at Singapore Sports and Orthopaedic Clinic located at Napier. With more than 15 years in clinical practice, Dr Tan focuses on orthopaedic conditions, particularly those affecting the hip and knee. Dr Reyaz Singaporewalla is a Senior Consultant Surgeon specialising in general and endocrine-head &amp; neck surgery. He is the Medical Director at ACE Specialist Surgery and Endoscopy, with clinics in Novena and Napier.With over 25 years of clinical experience, his clinical interests include minimally invasive endocrine surgery and laparoscopic adrenal procedures.
