Dr Hamilton Leo Haydon is a Paediatrician with a background in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, practising at&nbsp;International Medical Clinic (IMC) - Children's&nbsp;in Orchard.&nbsp;He earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama in 2000, completed a residency at Maine Medical Centre, and pursued a Fellowship at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, finishing in 2006. He became US board-certified in Pediatrics in 2003 and in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology in 2006. After several years in private practice, Dr. Hamilton relocated to Singapore in 2011, where he continues to provide comprehensive care for children from newborns to teenagers. His areas of interest include asthma, behavioural issues such as ADHD, teen health, and the management of routine childhood illnesses.Dr. Hamilton's philosophy of care emphasises modern, evidence-based medicine while minimising unnecessary interventions and medications. Dr Teoh obtained her Master’s in Sports Medicine (Honours) in 1994 in the United States of America and is recognised as Singapore’s first female sports and exercise medicine specialist. She is also trained in medical acupuncture.&nbsp;With more than 30 years of clinical experience, Dr Teoh cares for individuals across different activity levels – from competitive and recreational athletes to people who simply enjoy staying active. She also has a strong interest in promoting safe physical activity for persons with disabilities, older adults, children, and youth. Her involvement at the London 2012 Paralympics further shaped her commitment to inclusive sports participation.&nbsp;Dr Teoh has served as a team physician for Singapore’s national athletes at major sporting events for three decades. She has taken on roles such as Chief Medical Officer for Team Singapore at the SEA Games, ASEAN Para Games, Commonwealth Games, Asian Games, Youth Olympic Games, Olympic Games, and Paralympic Games. From 2014 to 2018, she led the medical support team for Singapore Schools at the ASEAN Schools Games.&nbsp;She currently holds several leadership and advisory positions, including Chair of the Therapeutic Use Exemption Committees of Anti-Doping Singapore, Chair of the Women in Sport Committee of the Singapore National Olympic Council (SNOC), and Chair of the Advisory Committee for the School of Sports and Health at Republic Polytechnic (RP). She also serves on the RP Board of Governors, the Medical Commission of SNOC, and the Medical Advisory Panel of the Singapore Disability Sports Council (SDSC). In addition, she is on the boards of the Singapore Sports School and Singapore Bowling Pte Ltd, and is a Past President of the Sports Medicine Association of Singapore.&nbsp;Internationally, Dr Teoh has contributed to several medical and anti-doping committees. She previously served as Secretary of the International Hockey Federation Medical Committee and was a member of the Anti-Doping Committee of the International Paralympic Committee and the Therapeutic Use Exemption Expert Advisory Group of the World Anti-Doping Agency. She has been actively involved in medical services planning for the Commonwealth Games as part of the Anti-Doping and Medical Commission of the Commonwealth Games Federation. For the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), she serves on the Medical Commission and has worked as a Supervisory Doctor at international competitions, including the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023. In 2024, she was appointed to the Gender Equity Committee of the Olympic Council of Asia.&nbsp;Her contributions to sports and healthcare have been recognised through several awards, including the Public Service Medal (2019), Healthcare Humanity Award (2020), National Healthcare Group (NHG) Outstanding Citizenship Award (2022), NHG Distinguished Achievement Award (2025), and the Singapore Disability Sports Council Community Changemaker of the Year for PlayBuddy (2023). He was previously awarded the NMRC health research scholarship, graduating with a Masters of Clinical Investigation from the National University of Singapore. He was also awarded the Duke-NUS academic medical grant and National Medical Research Council New Investigator Grant (NIG) studying the ‘Functional roles of plasma micronutrients in obese women receiving nutrition intervention during preconception and early pregnancy. He presented at numerous international conferences and published numerous papers in reputable peer-reviewed journals.Besides research, Dr Ryan has an incessant passion for teaching and was previously awarded the Inspiring Resident-Educator award.
