Dr Annabelle Tay Sok Yan is a Paediatric Otorhinolaryngologist (Ear, Nose, and Throat) currently practising at the Lynne Lim Ear Nose Throat Hearing Centre (Child & Adult) in Orchard and Farrer Park. Her practice covers paediatric ear conditions and hearing loss, including cochlear implants, bone-anchored hearing aids, ossicular chain reconstruction, tympanomastoidectomy, endoscopic ear surgery, otoplasty and auricular reconstruction surgery. 

Dr Tay performs both open and endoscopic airway reconstruction surgery (laryngotracheal reconstruction) for children with congenital and acquired airway stenosis and disease. Dr Tay also manages paediatric snoring, sinus and allergy disorders, voice problems, dysphagia, salivation problems (Sialorrhea) and paediatric head and neck conditions.

Dr Tay completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2007. During her undergraduate studies, she was awarded the Jane Prize in Paediatrics in 2006. She completed her residency in otolaryngology and was accredited as a specialist in otolaryngology in 2014. Following completion of the surgical speciality examinations, she was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, Glasgow.

Dr Tay completed her USMLE exams (Step 1 to Step 3) and obtained ECFMG certification in 2015. She was awarded an Academic Medicine Development Award (AMDA) for a Paediatric Otolaryngology Fellowship in 2015. She then spent a year (2016-2017) at Texas Children's Hospital in the United States of America as a clinical fellow in the American ENT Board Accredited Paediatric Otolaryngology Fellowship Program.

Prior to entering private practice, Dr Tay was a Paediatric Otolaryngologist, at National University Hospital, in Singapore.

Additionally, Dr Tay has contributed to the field of medicine through publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals and presentations at regional and international meetings. She has mentored medical students and residents throughout her career. Dr Tay participates in quality improvement projects, including the Paediatric Tracheostomy Care Quality Improvement at NUH, to improve patient care.

Dr Tay is accredited to perform surgical procedures at the Thomson Medical Centre.
