Dr Lee Fang Jann is a Urologist & Renal Transplant Surgeon currently practising at URODOC in Farrer Park and Orchard.
With over 16 years' experience treating bladder, kidney, and prostate conditions, Dr Lee has built a strong reputation for clinical excellence. His dedication to patient care has been recognised through multiple awards, including the Service With A Heart Award in 2006, 2008, and 2011, as well as the Singapore Health Quality Service Award in 2016.
In his clinical practice, Dr Lee manages urological disorders with a subspecialty focus on men’s health and male infertility. He has a special interest in minimally invasive approaches to prostate enlargement therapy and treats conditions including Benign Prostate Hyperplasia (BPH), prostate cancer, and kidney stones.
Dr Lee obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and subsequently pursued advanced postgraduate training, earning the Membership of The Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh), a Master of Medicine in Surgery (Singapore) and a Fellowship of the Academy of Medicine (Urology). He further deepened his surgical expertise through a clinical fellowship at the Oxford Transplant Centre in the UK, followed by advanced laparoscopic and robotic training in the US, France and India, culminating in his admission as a Fellow of the International College of Robotic Surgeons.
Prior to entering private practice, Dr Lee served in the public sector for 16 years at Singapore General Hospital. There, he led the Renal Transplant Program and laparoscopic donor nephrectomy service as Surgical Director. He was also Director of the Andrology and Male Subfertility Services at Singapore General Hospital.
Apart from clinical work, Dr Lee is active in academia and believes in the importance of nurturing the next generation of doctors. He was Senior Clinical Lecturer at NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and is currently Adjunct Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School. He is also regularly invited to share his experiences locally and regionally through lectures, workshops and surgical demonstrations.
Dr Lee is accredited to perform surgical procedures at Thomson Medical Centre.
