Dr Lee Jiah Min is a Senior Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist currently practising at The O&G Specialist Clinic in Novena.
With more than 22 years of experience in obstetrics and gynaecology, Dr Lee is a Level 3 laparoscopic surgeon who has done more than 8000 laparoscopic surgeries to date. She is also a pioneer of VNOTES in Singapore for scarless vaginal single port surgery. In addition, she is the pioneer of contained fibroid and uterus morcellation in a bag for both laparoscopic and vaginal route surgery. During her time at her former hospital, she also delivered 40-45 babies per month.
Her clinical practice spans gynaecological surgery, obstetrics, fertility screening, and assisted reproduction. She manages conditions including fibroids, ovarian cysts, adenomyosis, severe endometriosis, dense pelvic adhesions, pelvic pain, and cervical pre-cancer. Her services include ablation treatment for adenomyosis, excision of deep endometriosis, adhesiolysis of dense pelvic adhesions, advanced hysteroscopic resection of submucous fibroids and polyps, as well as colposcopy.
Dr Lee obtained her medical degree from the National University of Singapore. She then completed her postgraduate specialty training and attained membership with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (UK). In addition, she is accredited as a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology by the Ministry of Health (Singapore), is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (FAMS), and holds specialised accreditation as a practising colposcopist with the SCCPS. She was also awarded a HMDP fellowship at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan.
Prior to private practice, Dr Lee was a Senior Consultant at the O&G Department of Minimally Invasive Surgery at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr Lee also serves as a Teaching Faculty Member for hands-on laparoscopic workshops. As part of her teaching work, she has been a key contributor and faculty member to the KKH Gynaecological Teaching Conference in conjunction with the yearly Regional APAGE Congress.
Dr Lee is accredited to perform surgical procedures at Thomson Medical Centre.
