Dr Lingaraj Krishna is a Senior Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon practising at Orthopaedic and Hand Surgery Partners in Napier and Thomson Rd. He specialises in knee and hip surgery, as well as orthopaedic sports medicine. He has over 20 years of medical experience and manages a broad spectrum of orthopaedic conditions, with a particular focus on sports-related knee surgery, knee ligament reconstruction, hip and knee joint replacements, and revision joint surgery.

He was previously the Head of the Division of Sports Medicine and Surgery at NUH (2014–2020) and the Founding Director of the NUH Sports Centre (2016–2020). He has made significant contributions to Singapore’s sports and medical landscape. He served on the Executive Board of Sport Singapore from 2016 to 2020 and currently sits on the Civil Aviation Medical Board. He also represents Singapore on the boards of the ASEAN Society for Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy (ASSA), the Asia-Pacific Knee Society (APKS) and the Asian Knee Arthroscopy Think Tank (AKAT).

He is also a member of the Membership Committee of the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS). A dedicated researcher, Dr Lingaraj has authored over 40 peer-reviewed scientific articles and presented at more than 70 conferences. Outside of his medical career, he is a sports enthusiast and former competitive squash player.
