Dr Shirley Bang is a Urological specialist currently practising at Advanced Urology in Napier.

As one of the few female urologists in the country, Dr Shirley was instrumental in introducing Percutaneous Tibial Nerve Stimulation (PTNS) at Tan Tock Seng Hospital in 2018 for overactive bladder. Her clinical work covers the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of urological conditions. This includes simple procedures for urinary stones and reconstructive surgery of the urinary tract.

She's a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine in Singapore and a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in the UK.

Prior to starting her private practice, Dr Shirley was a consultant with the Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) where she built her experience and expertise in urology. During her time at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH), she was a core faculty member of the National Healthcare Group Urology Residency Program, as well as a clinical tutor for both NTU's Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and NUS's Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.

Additionally, Dr Shirley Bang sits on the executive committee of the Singapore Society for Continence and author research papers published in respected urological journals.
