Dr Wong Jian Hao Kevin is a Hand Surgeon currently practising at Hand Surgery Associates in Novena, Napier, Alvernia, Parkway East and Orchard.
His subspecialties include wrist arthroscopy, microsurgery for upper and lower limb reconstruction, and peripheral nerve endoscopy. In his clinical practice, he manages hand and wrist trauma, fractures, arthritis, nerve compression, replantation's, reconstructive microsurgery, and sports-related injuries of the hand and wrist. He cares for both adults and children.
Dr Wong graduated from the National University of Singapore with an MBBS in 2003. He completed his postgraduate basic surgical training in Singapore and later obtained the MRCS (Glasgow, UK). In 2014, he was awarded the Singapore Society for Hand Surgery Travelling Fellowship and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand International Travelling Fellowship. These were completed at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York with Dr Andrew J Weiland and at C.V. Starr Hand Surgery Center at Mount Sinai West, New York with Dr Steven Glickel. In 2015, he was accredited by the Ministry of Health (Singapore) as a Hand Surgeon.
Prior to private practice, Dr Wong was with Tan Tock Seng Hospital from 2011. He served as Chief of the Hand & Microsurgery Section from 2015 to 2016. He continues to serve as a Visiting Consultant there.
During his time at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Dr Wong was an Adjunct Assistant Professor and contributed to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. He also served as Program Director of the National Healthcare Group Hand Surgery Residency training programme, Associate Programme Director of the National Integrated Programme for Hand Surgery Residency, and Fellowship Director for Hand & Reconstructive Microsurgery. His research includes international publications in Hand & Reconstructive Microsurgery and hand surgery education in Singapore.
Dr Kevin is accredited to perform surgical procedures at Thomson Medical Centre.
