His postgraduate training included extensive international fellowships in North America, South Korea, and Japan, covering complex open spine surgery, paediatric and adult spinal deformity, spinal tumours, trauma, and endoscopic spine surgery.

Before entering private practice, Dr Wu was an Orthopaedic Consultant at the JurongHealth Campus under the National University Health System, where he also served as Director of the Spinal Fellowship Programme and Director of Orthopaedic Research. During this time, he was involved in establishing ambulatory endoscopic spine surgery services and led clinical research that was published in peer-reviewed international journals. He continues to serve as a Visiting Consultant to orthopaedic departments within public healthcare institutions, including National University Hospital and SingHealth hospitals.

Dr Wu is actively involved in medical education and professional development. He previously served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the National University of Singapore and received the Orthopaedic Teaching Excellence Award for multiple academic years in recognition of his commitment to undergraduate education.
