Dr Hamid Razak is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 15 years of experience, practicing at Total Orthopaedic Care & Surgery.
Dr Hamid's clinical interests focus on knee injuries, conditions, and surgeries, including knee replacement and knee preservation.
He graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS in 2009, obtained a Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine from NUS in 2013, and completed his Master's in Medicine (Orthopaedic Surgery) from NUS in 2018. Additionally, he earned a Diploma in Sports Medicine from the International Olympic Committee in 2015.
Before moving into private practice, Dr Hamid led the Sports & Joint Preserving Osteotomy Services at Sengkang General Hospital and was the site chief for the SingHealth Sports & Exercise Medicine Centre.
With over 100 publications in peer-reviewed journals and significant grant funding, Dr Hamid actively contributes to clinical research and innovation. His dedication to advancing joint-preserving surgery underscores his mission to optimise patient outcomes and advance orthopaedic care.
Beyond his clinical work, Dr Hamid is actively involved in voluntary service and currently serves as the 2nd adviser to Jurong GRC Grassroots Organizations (Jurong Spring).
Dr Hamid is accredited to perform surgical procedures at Thomson Medical Centre.
