Physician Mok Chin Yi

Physician Mok Chin Yi is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioner at Thomson Chinese Medicine in Woodleigh. 

Her background in bilingual education and Chinese medicine shapes her interest in communicating TCM concepts clearly to the wider community. She is registered with the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board and provides care that integrates traditional approaches such as acupuncture and TCM-based health management. 

Her clinical interests include TCM internal medicine, with a focus on liver, metabolic and gastrointestinal health. She also manages sleep and stress-related concerns and supports women’s health and children’s health through individualised TCM care. Her services include acupuncture for pain management. Her academic interest in pathomechanism-based syndrome differentiation informs her understanding of disease patterns and patient-centred treatment approaches. 

Physician Mok holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Science and a Bachelor of Chinese Medicine from Nanyang Technological University and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. She is currently pursuing a Master of Medicine in TCM at Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, with a focus on Internal Medicine. 

In addition to her clinical work, Physician Mok has served as a lecturer and teaching assistant for modules including TCM Diagnostics, contributing to the education and understanding of TCM practices.
