Physician Ng Jin Ju

Physician Ng Jin Ju graduated from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in 2010 with a double degree in Biomedical Sciences and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). She went on to refine her clinical expertise over six years at a leading TCM charity organization. During this time, she also completed her Master's in TCM, with focus in TCM Oncology. After joining the civil service in 2016, Physician Jin Ju continued to dedicate herself to TCM clinical work by practicing at the Singapore Tzu Chi TCM Free Clinic, ensuring she remained actively engaged with patient care. During her time in the civil service, she also contributed to the formulation of policies for Traditional & Complementary Medicine, a role that reinforced her belief in TCM's vital role in public health. Her clinical expertise encompasses acupuncture for effective pain management, especially for the elderly. She also has keen interest in the holistic management of oncology patients, particularly within gynecological cancers like breast cancer, helping to ease the side effects after conventional western treatment. As a mother herself, Physician Jin Ju deeply understands the challenges and emotional journey couples face in their pursuit of parenthood. She is committed to leveraging evidence-based TCM knowledge to support couples on their fertility journey and provide care for unwell children. In addition, she is dedicated to paediatric care, drawing on gentle, child-friendly TCM techniques to support children through a range of common health challenges. Her approach emphasises balancing the child's constitution and strengthening core vitality.Physician Ng had been a member of TCM oncology team in Singapore Thong Chai Medical Institution from year 2011 to 2017, seeing a wide variety of oncology patients seeking TCM support for cancer aftercare.
