Dr Bryan Wang Dehao is an Orthopaedic Surgeon at Beacon Orthopaedics in Napier. He has a special interest in shoulder, elbow, knee, and sports injuries. Dr Bryan cares for patients with a variety of orthopaedic conditions, including musculoskeletal injuries, and fractures of the upper and lower limbs.

His practice includes procedures such as arthroscopic superior capsular reconstruction for rotator cuff injury and elbow arthroscopy for tennis elbow.

After graduating from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2005, Dr Bryan was accepted as a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2010 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2015 after completing his specialist training.

Following his specialist qualification, Dr Bryan received the Eastern Health Alliance scholarship to undertake additional training at the Pan Am Clinic in Canada. There, he spent a year working on shoulder, elbow, knee and sports injuries under Professor Peter MacDonald, President of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons society and Canadian Orthopaedic Association. His experience includes serving as an assistant team physician for the Winnipeg Jets hockey team in the National Hockey League.

Prior to establishing his private practice, Dr Bryan was a Senior Consultant in the Shoulder & Elbow and Sports Department at Changi General Hospital (CGH), where he continues to serve as a Visiting Consultant.

He has also contributed to academic roles as a Clinical Lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin and Lee Kong Chian Schools of Medicine, a Clinical Assistant Professor at Duke–NUS Medical School, and, since 2016, a Core Faculty member training orthopaedic surgery residents in the SingHealth residency programme.

Dr Bryan's research has been published in international peer-reviewed journals. He is a member of several professional organisations, including the Canadian Shoulder and Elbow Society, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine.
