Dr Peter Ting is a General Cardiologist practising at the Harley Street Heart and Vascular Centre, with clinics in Napier, Novena, Orchard, and Farrer Park.
Dr Ting has over two decades of medical experience and provides his patients with thorough care for cardiovascular conditions. He focuses on the prevention, diagnosis and non-invasive management of heart disease. His clinical interests include heart valve disorders, coronary artery disease, preventive cardiology, and cardiac rehabilitation. Dr Ting also provides care for patients with heart rhythm irregularities, heart failure, and vascular conditions.
Dr Ting graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 1999 and became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (United Kingdom) in 2002. He completed his specialist training in general cardiology at the National Heart Centre Singapore before pursuing subspecialty training in preventive cardiology, cardiac rehabilitation, and adult echocardiography in Canada. There, he received training in advanced echocardiographic techniques, including contrast and 3D imaging for assessing heart function and valvular disorders. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Geriatric Medicine from NUS and an additional qualification in Sports Medicine from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).
Prior to entering private practice, Dr Ting held several academic appointments, including Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Duke-NUS Medical School, Senior Clinical Tutor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Core Faculty Member of the SingHealth Cardiology Residency Programme at the Singapore General Hospital. He has also served as a board member of Exercise is Medicine Singapore.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr Ting has taught medical students and residents. His previous academic roles include Adjunct Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School, Senior Clinical Tutor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, and Core Faculty Member of the SingHealth Cardiology Residency Programme. He has also presented his work at local and international scientific meetings. His research has been published in peer-reviewed medical journals, contributing to the fields of cardiology and preventive medicine.
