Senior Physician Ou Cui Liu

Senior Physician Ou Cui Liu is a senior Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) physician at Thomson Chinese Medicine in Paragon. 

Born into a family with three generations of medical practitioners, Senior Physician Ou developed an early interest in exploring TCM approaches to patient care. Her grandparents practised TCM from the 1930s, while her mother practised Western medicine and acupuncture as a general practitioner. 

Her clinical interests include fertility, TCM gynaecology, pain management, confinement care, mental wellness and gastrointestinal health. She uses acupuncture and Chinese medicine in her clinical practice. 

Senior Physician Ou holds a Bachelor of Traditional Chinese Medicine from Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In 2009, she obtained a PhD in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. 

Before relocating to Singapore, Senior Physician Ou worked as a TCM physician at Rongqi Hospital in Guangdong, China. 

In addition to her clinical work, she serves as a lecturer at the Singapore College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is fully registered with the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board and is a member of the Singapore Chinese Physicians’ Association.
